Privacy policy

BienMind attaches particular importance to the protection of personal data. This policy describes the processing operations we carry out on the bienmind.com website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act (loi "Informatique et Libertés").

1. Data controller

The data controller is BienMind, a sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle), 128 rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris, contactable at hello@bienmind.com.

2. Data collected on this site

bienmind.com is a static showcase website. It has no user accounts, no comment section and no advertising tracking.

• Contact form. The information you enter in it — subject, name, email address and message — is transmitted to our own server, hosted in the European Union, which forwards it to us by email. It is used solely to reply to you: no subscription to a mailing list, no disclosure to any third party. Legal basis: your voluntary approach and our legitimate interest in replying to the enquiries addressed to us.
• Emails received. When you write to us, we process your address, your name and the content of your message in order to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to the enquiries addressed to us.
• Server logs. Our host keeps technical connection logs (IP address, date, page requested, user agent) for security and proper-operation purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the service.

3. Cookies

The bienmind.com website sets no cookies: no advertising cookie, no analytics cookie, no social-network cookie. The audience measurement described in paragraph 4 works without cookies and without any persistent identifier. No consent banner is therefore required.

The websites of our brands (Sonocrea, Oliceo, Cousinade.co) are separate services with their own cookie and privacy policies. By following a link from bienmind.com, you leave this site and become subject to the policy of the site you arrive at.

4. External resources and audience measurement

The site loads no resource from any third-party server: fonts, style sheets, scripts and images are all served from our own hosting. No advertising network and no social-network button is embedded. Your browsing on bienmind.com is not disclosed to any company other than our host.

We measure the site's traffic with Umami, open-source software that we host ourselves, on our own server, at stats.bienmind.com. It sets no cookies, does not track you from one site to another and records no data that would allow you to be identified: it counts page views, referral sources and device types, in aggregate form. Nothing is passed on to any third party. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing the audience for our pages.

5. Recipients and processors

Your data is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed by our technical service providers acting on our instructions:

6. Retention periods

• Messages received through the contact form and email correspondence: three years from the last contact.
• Aggregate traffic statistics: kept without time limit, as they relate to no identifiable person.
• Connection logs: twelve months at most.
• Unsuccessful applications from authors or partners: twelve months, unless deletion is requested.

7. Transfers outside the European Union

The website and the email service are hosted within the European Union. The bienmind.com website carries out no transfer of personal data outside the European Union.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to give directions as to what becomes of it after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to hello@bienmind.com. We reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to your identity.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL — the French data protection authority), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — cnil.fr.

9. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We apply proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access.

10. Artificial intelligence and data

We do not use the personal data of our visitors or users to train artificial intelligence models. The data processed by our applications remains hosted in Europe, in accordance with our editorial charter.

11. Amendments

This policy may change. Any substantial amendment will be indicated on this page, at the top of which the date of the last update appears.
